Physician Bio   

 Dr. Jennifer Carrington Brooks, the youngest of three children, was born in Barbados, West Indies.  In 1974 she immigrated to the United States to further her education.  Dr. Brooks received a full academic scholarship to attend Cornell University in Ithaca, New York.  There, she majored in Biology and received her Bachelor of Arts degree in 1981.  Dr. Brooks attended Howard University Medical School where she earned her medical degree in 1985.  She completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology in 1989.  Dr. Brooks has been a licensed physician in Maryland, Washington D.C., and Virginia.  She is currently licensed in the State of Texas and her practice is now focused exclusively on Gynecological services.  

Work Experience
In 1989, Dr. Brooks worked with Group Health Association in Maryland.  She relocated to Texas in 1990 and worked with Kaiser Permanente and Texas Health Choice.  Dr. Brooks has been in private solo practice since 2000.

Honors and Awards

In 1977, Dr. Jennifer C. Brooks received the Carolyn Greiger Award, a 4 year academic scholarship to Cornell University. Then in 1980, she was inducted into Cornell University’s Quill and Dagger Honor Society, and has been named one of Fort Worth's Top Docs by Fort Worth Magazine.
