Stretch Mark Removal with Fractora

Fractora is a RF microneedling treatment for stretch mark removal. It is done with a specialized system that stimulates the production of collagen, elastin, and other healthy skin proteins in the sub-dermal layers of the skin beneath the existing scar tissue.

How does Fractora work?

Fractora delivers radio-frequency energy to the skin through an array of pins producing localized heat and small micro-lesion dots in the treatment area. The heat generated by the Fractora pins promotes collagen restructuring for skin rejuvenation and an improved appearance in the skin. The methodical scattering of micro-lesions allows the skin to heal faster than if the entire area was ablated.

What Should I Expect During Treatment?

Patients feel a warm or hot sensation as the RF energy permeates the skin. Redness and swelling are common and typically subside within a few hours.

A high potency topical anesthetic will be applied to the treatment area 1 hour prior.
A small handheld wand with tiny micro-pins will perforate your skin while simultaneously delivering radio-frequency energy deep in the dermis.
Multiple passes are made over each area to ensure optimal results.

How quickly will I see results?

While improvements may appear right away, the most noticeable changes will occur over the following 2 weeks as collagen in the skin renews. Improvements continue up to 3 months after the treatment.

How much downtime?

Fractora mimics the results of fractional CO2 without the associated downtime or prolonged redness

Immediately after the procedure, the treated areas will look red, puffy, and shiny for about a week.
Expect to see micro lesions appear a few days after treatment for up to 1 week.
Makeup can be applied 1 to 2 days after the treatment.

Is Fractora safe?

Fractora uses radio-frequency which is color-blind technology and the benefit is that it can be used on skin of all color. The unique properties allow even darker tones to receive treatment.

Am I a Good Candidate?

Fractora can be used in areas that demonstrate fine or deep wrinkles, scars or discolored red and brown skin tone. The most common areas of treatment are the lower eyelid, upper eyelid, smile lines, cheeks, mouth and neck.
